We are all mapmakers with stories and experience rooted and grounded in the lands we call home. Community mapping is a process that recognizes and celebrates alternative ways of knowing and being, empowering and giving voice to those who are often unheard while creating representations of our collective “sense of place.” Come and see a selection of the many local Community Green Map projects that show how we connect with, love and respond to our shared geography.

Hosted by UVic Library, Community Mapping Collaboratory, Department of Geography, and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
