Wayde ComptonBy way of Donato Mancini's critique of the ideology informing aesthetic appraisal of Canadian poetry, Wayde Compton returns to Canadian dub poetry of the 1980s and 90s. In this plenary address, he also considers the work of other poets of colour and Indigenous poets, whose writing opposes a dominant poetic Canadian voice that speaks from the 'well-crafted' anecdotal lyric.
