A panel of expert economists and policy analysts, including Stewart Elgie (University of Ottawa) and Nancy Olewiler (Simon Fraser University), discuss the role carbon taxes have had in reducing carbon emissions in jurisdictions where such taxes are levied. The discussion will include an examination of other impacts of carbon taxes, such as the promotion of social and economic change and innovation.
