Don’t miss the Federation's 2013 Annual Conference, which will feature a panel discussion on the state of humanities and social sciences research in Canada with Alex Usher, president of Higher Education Strategy Associates, and Dr. Eliot Phillipson, Council of Canadian Academies.

John Ralston Saul, author and president of PEN International, will deliver a keynote address – A Country Won or Lost by its Intellectuals – which will be followed by the awarding of the Canada Prizes in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
